  • Xplor wins in two Silver Stevie categories, including Pandemic Innovation.

MELBOURNE, Australia – 17 May 2021— Xplor, the early learning software solution that provides a seamless experience for educators and families across Australia, is proud to announce that it won Silver Stevie® awards in two categories in the eighth annual Asia-Pacific Silver Stevie Awards today. The awards are the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in all 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. More than 900 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year in categories such as Award for Excellence in Innovation in Products & Services, among many others.

Xplor has pioneered cloud-based technology for the education sector, and immersive parent engagement apps helping over 7,000 services to better connect with families and support high-quality early learning. The Stevie Awards are widely considered the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in the International Business Awards® for 19 years. Nicknamed the ‘Stevies’ for the Greek word for “crowned”, the winners will be celebrated during a virtual (online) awards ceremony on Wednesday, 14 July.

Xplor won the Silver Stevie® Award in the following categories:

  • Award for Excellence in Innovation in Technology Industries – more than 100 employees
  • Most Valuable Technical Innovation- Pandemic Innovations

“I am incredibly humbled that the team has been recognised with two Stevie Awards for their quick work and innovations that were developed for the childcare sector throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Features like ‘Live Learning’ launched in April 2020 have helped services stay connected when families and children could not leave their homes. And platforms like Space have kept services viable as they try to manage occupancy post the pandemic,”said Mark Woodland, founder of Xplor and CEO of Education at Xplor.

“The childcare sector is facing challenging times, and technical innovation is the fastest way to help centres scale and remove unnecessary admin in post-pandemic markets,” Mark added.

“The eighth edition of the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards saw many outstanding nominations,” commented Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “The organizations that won this year have demonstrated a continued commitment to innovation and success amidst limitations around COVID-19. We commend their efforts and congratulate them for their perseverance and creativity. We look forward to celebrating many of this year’s winners during our virtual awards ceremony on 14 July.”
